Cheeses
for March Club Members...
Queso Mahon
This Spanish cow's milk (do they moo in espanol?) cheese hails from the island of Menorca. Named for the port of Mahon (from which mayonnaise comes from, too), this cheese has an extra salty tang reminiscent of the ocean breezes dusting the island's pastures.
Valdeon
Aged in the mountain caves of the Northwest region of Leon along the Catabrian Sea, this lively blue is made from a blend of cow, goat and sheep's milk. It is sometimes confused with Cabrales,
but is lighter in both color and flavor and comes wrapped in chestnut leaves.
Some taste the sea air washing over the mountain caves in it's tangy veins.
Montchevre
This fresh curd, creamy goat's milk cheese comes packaged
in a cute crottin. Made in Wisconsin, it comes in three distinct
and delicious flavors; plain, herbed, or peppercorn. Smear it on
your morning bagel for a fantastic, low fat alternative to cream cheese!

(Cost is $24.95/month, plus shipping)

Wines
for March Club Members...
2006 Morgan Pinot Gris~Francioni Vineyard
The Santa Lucia Highland's cool climate is well suited to Pinot Gris.
The R&D Franscioni Vineyard is the exclusive source of the grapes for this wine.
Look for hints of pineapple, papaya, sweet coconut, figs, pears, floral, and lime.
The wine finishes crisp, clean, and dry as the proverbial bone.
2006 Scott Harvey Zinfandel~Amador County Mountain Select
This fruit forward wine gives off a hint of fresh black cherry, currants,
and mint layer with a subtle hint of French Oak. This is a rich full-bodied
